Posted by john

In the world where Online Marketing is becoming the norm, it's all too easy to overlook the strategy, and jump right into developing the tactics. We've all heard someone at our company say "we need a [Insert nearly any social media company] page!" Well, next time you hear that, say "NO!" Ok, well you may want to be more subtle, so how about start with "Ok, let's discuss further". To help with that discussion, I've outlined 4 simple steps you must follow before starting that Facebook/LinkedIn/Twitter page.

Why Every Freelance Designer, Programmer, or Copywriter Needs Their Own Website

Creating a website is usually a pretty straight forward process. Meetings with the client turn into planning sessions, planning sessions turn into coding sessions, and coding sessions turn into a website that fits the client your developing for. It's not until you design a website for yourself that you are able to gain an interesting perspective on the whole process.  When creating the Click Ninjas website you're currently viewing, we ran into a few things that you only see when you're on the client's side.

Here at Click Ninjas we strongly believe in an open, and free internet. One of the things that make the internet so great is its ability to provide you with all the information the world has to offer.  Until now, America has never been faced with the possibility of a censored internet.  Some countries, unfortunately, aren't so lucky. As of yesterday, Google announced that it will no longer be actively developing Google Wave. For those of you who don't know what Google Wave is, it was Googles answer to what email would look like if it were built today, instead of 30 years ago like the current standard. This doesn't come as much of a shock to the tech community considering the adoption rate of such a radically different platform was less than impressive. Most people, myself included, are thankful for not diving head first (pun intended) into this new technology.
